We are in the midst of new time
Of a future undetermined
Of chances and changes
Of a past now unburdened
Hearts filled with excitement
New dreams; new beginnings
Possibilities and adventure
Hands dealt; unknown winnings
Life’s rules daily changing
Keeps the world filled with wonder
Hope and faith remain constant
Holding true; ne’er torn asunder
Life’s journey is unpredictable
Seeming at times with unknown cause
As pieces of time; mere moments
Time imperfect… full of flaws
Yet God beholds the beauty
Of each moment He inspires
Knowing time brings together… the pieces;
The results…He desired
Each moment; never wasted
I will count the blessing of time
As His work on this masterpiece
On this life…I call mine.
