My soul feels so dark
Someone turned out the light within me

Where once love shone so bright

Darkness
Brokenness
Why do we give such power to another?
The power to destroy us
To hurt us so
Will my soul ever shine again?
A piece of me is gone
It will never be as bright
As it was before
